Data Market Place

What is Data Market Place?: Data Market Place is an innovative platform where web and mobile developers can find hundreds of various datasets, available for use in their applications. The data comes from the same providers that some of the largest web portals use, but priced with the smaller developers in mind.
What countries are covered?: Currently, 12 countries are covered: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, UK & USA. We are constantly working to add more countries, so check back often or send your country requests to support@cloudmade.com.
What kind of data can I find in the Data Market Place?: Datasets in the Data Market Place currently contain POIs (places of interest), grouped into categories.
I need dataset X for country Y, but can't find it. Can you help?: If you need POIs for one of the countries currently present in the Data Market Place, it's likely we already have them, but are in the process of adding them. Please contact us at support@cloudmade.com.
Can I try a dataset before subscribing?: Yes. You can try any dataset for one month, with one API key linked to your account.
Can I cancel my subscription before the subscription period is over?: Yes, you can. However, we are unable to offer refunds for unused portions of subscription period. Therefore, we encourage you try the dataset using a 30 day free trial before subscribing.
How do I integrate data from Data Market Place into my web applications?: The good news is that in many cases, you will not need to write any code at all! Simply go to Style Editor, and add the dataset to the style of your choice. Now, simply embed the map into your page (don't forget to specify the right style id), and the POIs from that dataset will automatically appear on the map.

The license for dataset X limits the number of monthly transactions to Y. What do I do if I need more?: No problem. Please contact us at support@cloudmade.com.
